It's here!
The new Centaur avatar can now be bought from Hoof It, and, of course, if you already own one - updated for free. Simply wear your old avatar and click the update button on the vendor.
If you bought one during Fantasy Faire, there has been a bit of an update to fix some AO issues, so it's worth getting a new one just for the AO HUD.
Please check the FAQs for info on the horrible sinking-into-the-ground-issue fix. I still don't know what causes it but I do know how to mend it. If anyone has any bright ideas, let me know!

I hope you made it over to FF, it really was an awesome experience! Thanks so much to everybody who donated to the kiosks, or bought charity items at the Faire. A notice last night said that in total the faire raised $21,540 US for the cancer charity Relay for Life. That is an awesome achievement and if you contributed to that, you should be damn proud of yourself :D

Jail n Bail outcome

A HUGE thank you to everyone who made it over to the Jail & Bail event in Nemo last night - I had a heap of fun despite the rather unsympathetic crowd (pooping on my jailer was a good one - well, what do you expect when you put 1000 volts through a horse?!)
Best of all, your incredible contributions helped to raise L$9524! How awesome is that!

Please, keep up the good work - Fantasy Faire is running today and tomorrow, so if you haven't explored the 9 incredible sims yet please make sure you do! There are so many incredible products for sale you're sure to find something you love (I've already found way more than I should!) - keep an eye out for the official Relay vendors - all sales proceeds from these go directly to charity. If you don't have a lot of money to spare you should still go and visit these incredible builds, they really are a sight you shouldn't miss - there are many donation kiosks scattered about (and in Nectaris too!) and every L$ counts, so don't feel like you can't help if you can't afford a shopping spree :)

Tonight, April 8th 2011, I am taking part in a Jail n Bail for Relay For Life. I will be put in jail by the Friends Fighting Cancer Team O.O
My bail is set at 100,000 Lindens.....I might be there for days!
If you could take 2 minutes to visit and donate a few spare L$ (and perhaps jeer at me a bit!) that would be awesome! Every single Linden dollar will add up!
Relay For Life is the signature fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. It is an international movement involving 21 countries.

March XC Competition Winners & Rule Change

Congratulations to Zed Karas on Jess who came first with a time of 02:17.66. In second was Bloodsong Termagant on Rockslide with a time of 02:17.02, and in third Boo Jacobus and Rusty Bucket with 02:33.59.
There were no Necomers in this month's competition.
Boo Jacobus also takes the prize for Best Name with Rusty Bucket.Well done to our winners, and thanks to everyone who took part.

The April cross country is a speed trial, so get movin'!
For the next two comepetitions we will be trialing a new way of scoring. Currently, if you have any penalties you drop right to the bottom of the results table, making it pretty much impossible to place.
To make the competition fairer, we are going to try a system whereby 10 seconds is added to your time score for every penalty (missed jump). Scores will list Time, Penalties and Final Time. Although when the results are finalised only the Final Time will be recorded (cos we just don't have enough room for more columns in the table!
We'll give this a go for the next few competitions and see how you like it. Please let me know what you think!

This year at the Fantasy Faire, we have over 50 incredible items that are up for auction, many of which are unique or limited edition. All items start at only L$500 and go up in a minimum of L$50 increments, with ALL raised funds going straight to Relay for Life.
Some of this year's items include:
- A unique Fantasy Faire horse avatar with pegasus wings from Hoof It!

- A limited edition avatar from Mer Betta
- A unique family skin pack from Fallen Gods, Inc

Show Your Support! Photo Contest
To qualify for the Show Your Support! contest please visit one of the 2011 Fantasy Faire sims, buy one of the fabulous RFL vendor items from any of our wonderful creators, and take a photo of yourself with your purchase (wearing, sitting on, etc).
The picture must also include, in the background, a Relay For Life logo or sign.
LowLag Fairy
As with all events this size, there will be lag. We have done our best to keep it as low as we can but we’ll also need your help. Be considerate of your fellow shoppers, keep prims and bling in your pocket, remove scripted items, turn off your AOs and other scripted HUDs and you will find the going easier for yourself and improve the experience for others as well! Low prim clothes are available at each teleport point so that you can show your support for The Relay for Life and help everything run smoother PLUS our secret LowLag Fairy will be dropping FABULOUS prizes on people with really low script loads for doing such a great job at keeping the lag down!

Fantasy Fair opens TOMORROW! You can find our store in the stunning sim Nemo Revisited - please come and see us there, because we have a bunch of beautiful things for your avatars, specially designed for the Faire (so never to be sold again!), and all the money you spend will go right to the cancer charity Relay for Life.
